SUNQIT new arrival AGV work with flow rack for material transport
Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) are a type of wheeled mobile robot that move along wires, marking blocks or magnetic strips on the floor, or through visual or laser navigation. They are widely used in industrial production to transport goods in workshops and warehouses. With the advent of Industry 4.0, they have received even greater attention. AGV use a variety of steering control systems. The most commonly used one is differential driving control. However, it is not suitable for towed AGVs because when turning, the towed section may push the towing section, causing a jackknifing phenomenon. The second is the steering wheel drive control (Steering driving). It is suitable for tractors or manual steering when necessary. It can also be a combination of the above two methods. It can move in any direction. Therefore, AGVs are classified by their movement patterns as: unidirectional, bidirectional, omnidirectional (Quad motion), etc. A more recent approach is to use mecanum wheels for omnidirectional movement.
