How to install a double-speed chain production line?

The installation of a double-speed chain production line is a process that requires precise operation, with the core focus being the accuracy of key steps such as foundation positioning, chain installation, and drive system debugging. Below are the installation procedures and key points based on professional documentation:

How to install a double-speed chain production line?

1. Basic Positioning and Rack Installation

Precision Measurement: Use a laser level to calibrate the foundation, ensuring the spacing error of the machine frame anchor bolts is less than 0.5mm. The spacing of support brackets must be adjusted according to the load (for heavy-load scenarios, tighten to 1 meter).

Torque Control: Anchor bolts must be tightened to the standard torque using a torque wrench to prevent frame shaking.

II. Chain Installation and Tensioning

Direction Indication: The roller arrow must be aligned with the direction of operation, facing upward, and the manufacturer's compatible connector must be used for manual testing to ensure no jamming occurs.

Tension Adjustment: Reserve a 5-10 cm travel allowance on the driving wheel side, and ensure the driven wheel's sag is ≤2% (ideally, pressing the middle section with a finger should result in a sag of 10-15 mm).

Double-layer Structure: For double-layer design, pallet reflow can be achieved by connecting profiles and installing an elevator.

3. Drive System and Joint Commissioning

Coaxial Calibration: The deviation between the motor and the drive wheel axis must be ≤0.1mm. For heavy-duty conveyor lines, auxiliary brackets are required to prevent vibration.

Lubrication requirements: Apply high-temperature lithium-based grease (thickness 0.1-0.3mm) to the steel chain before its initial operation.

Smart Detection: Monitors over 200 points via the PLC system, with a 24-hour no-load test (noise ≤75dB, motor temperature rise ≤60℃).

IV. Common Errors and Recommendations

Critical errors: Including neglecting bolt torque, loose/tight chains, failure to level calibration, etc., may cause chain misalignment or motor wear.

Professional Support: For complex scenarios, refer to the supplier's CAD drawings or consult an engineer for guidance, and opt for a customized installation plan.
