Design Case of Lean Pipe Workbench

The lean pipe workbench consists of two main parts: the overall framework of the workbench, the table panel, or the aluminum profile slide rail. The overall framework is the most important, which is assembled with flexible lean pipes, various connectors, and support feet, equivalent to a person's skeleton. With it, a lean pipe workbench can be supported. So how do we design a lean management workbench?

When designing a lean pipe workbench, the first consideration is the load capacity, which can be increased by adding support points, connectors, and using two lean pipes in parallel to increase strength. When designing the structure, confirm that the main load is directly applied to the pipe fittings rather than to the connecting components. At a maximum horizontal distance of every 600mm, there must be vertical columns supporting the ground, and every 1200mm, the vertical columns should be directly to the ground.

For products with casters, the chassis should be a double pole parallel structure. The horizontal distance is 600mm, and the safe load-bearing capacity of a single lean pipe and slide is 30kg. A single piece of plastic coating is stronger than several lean pipes connected in series by clamps, so when selecting lean pipes, the force bearing rod must be a whole piece, and the connecting rod can be segmented. The width (center distance) of each column of the sliding shelf is the width of the turnover box placed+60mm. The height of each layer is the height of the turnover box placed+50mm.

The determination of the inclination angle of the slide is generally 5-8 degrees. When placing precision materials, heavy materials, and the bottom of turnover boxes is relatively smooth, the inclination angle should be smaller. When designing a lean management workbench product, detailed consideration should be given to its usage. If it does not require movement, try not to design it as a product with casters.
