Which is better, lean pipe or galvanized pipe?

There are many types of pipes on the market. Today, Sunqit will explain lean pipes and galvanized pipes to you. In fact, there are significant differences in the materials and uses of these two types of pipes. So, which is better, lean pipes or galvanized pipes? The key is what it is used for.

Which is better, lean pipe or galvanized pipe?

Lean management

Lean pipe (also known as wire rod) is a steel plastic composite pipe with an outer plastic layer, a middle metal layer, and an inner rust proof layer. The current process is to directly attach the plastic layer to the metal layer. The inner wall of the steel pipe is coated with anti-corrosion material. The standard diameter of the wire rod material is 27.8mm ± 0.2mm, and the wall thickness of the steel pipe is 0.7mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, and 2.0mm. Wire rod products are a modular system composed of pipe fittings and wire rod connectors, which can transform any creative idea into a personalized and practical structure, and are manufactured extremely simply, quickly, and at low cost.

Wire rod products are suitable for providing flexible unit production lines, modular assembly lines, flexible warehousing equipment, material distribution equipment, industrial automation equipment, and other specialized equipment and technical services designed according to local improvement needs for industries such as automobiles, electronics, machinery manufacturing, commercial logistics and distribution, tobacco, farms, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. They also offer production innovation and on-site improvement solutions.

Galvanized pipe

Galvanized steel pipes are divided into cold galvanized steel pipes and hot-dip galvanized steel pipes. Cold galvanized steel pipes have been banned, while the latter is still advocated for temporary use. In the 1960s and 1970s, new types of pipes were developed internationally and galvanized pipes were gradually banned. Domestically, galvanized pipes have been banned as water supply pipes since 2000. Galvanized pipes are rarely used for cold water pipes in newly built residential areas, and some residential areas use galvanized pipes for hot water pipes. Hot dip galvanized steel pipes are widely used in fire protection, electricity, and highways.

Hot dip galvanized steel pipes are widely used in manufacturing industries such as construction, machinery, coal mines, chemicals, electricity, railway vehicles, automotive industry, highways, bridges, containers, sports facilities, agricultural machinery, petroleum machinery, mining machinery, greenhouse construction, etc.

Welded steel pipes with hot-dip or electroplated zinc coating on the surface of galvanized steel pipes. Galvanizing can increase the corrosion resistance of steel pipes and extend their service life. Galvanized pipes have a wide range of applications. In addition to being used as pipeline pipes for general low-pressure fluids such as water, gas, and oil, they are also used as oil well pipes and oil pipelines in the petroleum industry, especially in marine oil fields. They are also used as pipes for oil heaters, condensers, and coal tar wash oil exchangers in chemical coking equipment, as well as pipes for support structures in wharf piles and mining tunnels.
