The installation of aluminum alloy lean tube connectors can be carried out according to standardized procedures, with full compatibility with 28mm mainstream specification tubing, ensuring that the joints are stable and free from loosening.
Before installation, prepare an Allen wrench of the corresponding specification, a rubber hammer, and a lint-free cloth. Check the compatibility of the connector with the lean tube model in advance, and confirm that the tube ends are free of burrs and deformation.
Wipe the interior of the pipe dovetail groove and the joint contact surface with a lint-free cloth to remove aluminum shavings and oil stains, so as to avoid impurities affecting the connection accuracy.
Step-by-step installation process: Pre-positioning: Align the connector with the lean tube port, smoothly push it in along the cross dovetail groove direction of the tube. Do not fully lock it. First, adjust the relative position of the tube and the overall frame angle.
Node locking: Use an Allen wrench to tighten the fixing screws of the joint in a diagonal sequence. The tightening torque for each individual screw should be controlled at 3~5N·m to avoid slipping due to excessive force or damaging the surface of the pipe.
Special node reinforcement: When installing the slant support node, first snap the two ends of the 45° slant support fastener into the dovetail grooves of two intersecting pipes, adjust to a triangular stable structure, and then simultaneously tighten the screws on both sides.
Overall leveling: After all nodes have been pre-tightened, use a level gauge to calibrate the verticality of the columns and the levelness of the beams. After confirming that the overall frame is free of deviation, retighten all screws a second time to complete the final fastening.
Operation tips: Do not directly use a hammer to strike connectors and pipes to avoid deformation of aluminum alloy materials and damage to the surface anodic oxidation layer. Only use a rubber hammer to gently tap and assist in alignment.
The installation sequence follows the principle of "first the side panel frames, then the overall assembly; first the load-bearing rods, then the connecting rods". Progress should be made from both ends of the frame towards the middle to avoid cumulative errors that may cause the overall frame to become misaligned.
All joint screws must be fully tightened in place, and the deviation in the verticality of the column should be controlled within 1‰ to prevent issues such as node loosening and structural tilt after the shelf has been under long-term load.
