How is aluminum alloy lean pipe generated?

The core of producing lean aluminum alloy pipes is to process aluminum alloy ingots into high-precision pipes through extrusion, heat treatment, and surface treatment. It belongs to the third generation of lean pipes, mainly made of 6061 or 6063 aluminum alloy, which is lighter, has better load-bearing capacity, and does not rust compared to old-fashioned plastic coated steel pipes.

1、 Main production process
1. Ingot preparation: First, melt and cast the aluminum ingot into solid or hollow aluminum alloy ingots, which are the raw materials for all subsequent processing.
2. Extrusion molding: Heat the ingot to over 500 degrees and use an extruder with molds with different inner holes to extrude hollow round or square tubes. This is the most critical molding step, where the size and shape of the pipe are determined.
3. Heat treatment strengthening: There is stress inside the extruded aluminum tube, which needs to be eliminated through aging or tempering treatment to improve strength and rigidity. Grades like 6063-T5 and 6061-T6 are obtained through different heat treatment processes.
4. Surface treatment: The surface is treated with anodizing technology to form a dense oxide film, which is corrosion-resistant and rust proof. It has a silver white appearance and can also be customized in various colors.
5. Finishing and cutting: Finally, cut according to the standard length, check the accuracy and straightness, and the finished lean pipe is obtained.
2、 How to get the matching connector
The joint is a different process: the aluminum ingot is melted and die cast, demolded and shot blasted, and then inspected and assembled into a complete set one by one.
3、 Common specification parameters
·Material: Mainly 6063-T5 and 6061-T6 aluminum alloys, with a purity generally above 99%.
·Wall thickness: There are two common types: 1.2mm and 1.7mm, and there are also customized options of 1.5mm and 2.0mm.
·Weight bearing: With a wall thickness of 1.2mm, the weight bearing capacity per meter is about 180-200kg, and with a wall thickness of 1.7mm, it can reach 500kg.
·Appearance: Silver white anodized surface, can also be customized in black anti-static, beige and other colors.
